Summary

This accession consists of the records of Michael J. Neufeld, Curator, which primarily document the planning and development of "Destination Moon," a traveling exhibition that became a gallery at the National Air and Space Museum (NASM), and the updating of galleries in the museum. Some records date back to when the Space History Department was known as the Space History Division, prior to 2013, and when Neufeld was a curator in the Aeronautics Division at NASM. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, and notes; proposals; schedules; design drawings; meeting agendas and minutes; a lecture paper; fundraising, loans, and tour information; brochures; clippings; and photographs. Some materials are in electronic format.
