This accession consists of three websites maintained by the Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage as they existed on September 17, 2021.
The "Ella Jenkins: The First Lady of Children's Folk Song" website includes biographical information, discography, song lists, awards, images, videos, and news related to Ella Jenkins. Due to technical issues, some multimedia content may be missing from this accession.
The "Spirit of Seeger" website was created for what would have been Pete Seeger's 100th birthday celebration in 2019. It includes a calendar of events, biographical information, discography, album art, images, and videos. Due to technical issues, some multimedia content may be missing from this accession. The website has not been updated since the birthday celebration.
The "Masters of Tradition: A Cultural Journey Across America" website, produced by the Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage in collaboration with the National Endowment for the Arts and Esri, uses a story map to highlight artists from across the United States who have been awarded the National Endowment for the Arts National Heritage Fellowship, the nation's highest honor for excellence in the folk and traditional arts.
