Summary:

This accession consists of two websites maintained by the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, also known as the National Museum of Asian Art. The primary museum website was crawled on June 11, 2021, five days before its scheduled reopening after the Covid-19 pandemic closure. The website includes information for visitors and donors, an exhibition directory, educational resources, and a blog. The Korean ceramics section of the website was crawled separately on August 30, 2021. Due to technical issues, not all content was captured. A website that allows the public to send e-cards was crawled on August 26, 2021. Artwork on the e-cards features collection objects, exhibitions, or museum events. The crawled website does not include the full functionality of the live website. Materials are in digital format.
