This accession consists of server files for the Latino Working Committee section of PRISM, the Smithsonian Institution intranet, representing the web pages as they existed in approximately 2012-2013. The Latino Working Committee was formed to advocate for greater awareness and expansion of Latino histories, arts, science, and cultures throughout the Smithsonian community; to promote the participation of Latinos on Smithsonian advisory boards, administration, exhibitions, collections, research, education, and public programs; and to build a vital community for Latino and non-Latino staff members interested in Latino issues. The files document the committee's mission advocacy efforts and accomplishments and provide lists of resources. Materials are in digital format.
