Summary

This accession consists of records documenting the design, installation, and operation of various custom components of and equipment associated with the Albert Einstein Spacearium, the National Air and Space Museum's planetarium. Particularly well documented are the design and installation of the turntable on which the projector would be mounted and the testing and modification of the elevator that would be used for the transport of heavy equipment. Materials include correspondence, construction drawings, specifications, schematics, manuals, reports, and related materials.
