This accession consists of records documenting the administrative activities of David J. Skorton during his fourth year as Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution. Materials include correspondence and memoranda; agreements; budget summaries; reports; information about awards, gifts, personnel management, speaking engagements, meetings, strategic planning, publications, Board of Regents, committees, conferences, museum advisory boards, and professional associations; invitations; newsletters; brochures; and photographs. Listings in bold indicate both the topic of folder contents and major subheadings from the Secretary's office file plan.
