This accession consists of awards, commemorative items, and memorabilia presented to General John R. Dailey, Director, 2000-2018, as an individual or on behalf of the museum. In addition, this accession also includes items that Dailey received during his career at the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), but maintained in his office at the National Air and Space Museum (NASM). Some materials may have been received by previous NASM directors. Materials include plaques, photographs, commemorative coins and metals, a retirement certificate from NASA, a book, and a paperweight.

This accession consists of awards, commemorative items, and memorabilia presented to General John R. Dailey, Director, 2000-2018, as an individual or on behalf of the museum.
