This accession consists of Twitter posts, known as tweets, using the hashtag #SmithsonianPride. This hashtag was used by museums and other units throughout the Smithsonian Institution to promote collections, events, and programs related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and other sexual and gender minority (LGBTQ+) individuals and communities. Tweets using this hashtag were exported into two formats between May 25 and July 30, 2020. The results from a search of Twitter on the hashtag were crawled on August 10, 2020. Due to technical issues, some tweets may be missing. Materials are in electronic format.
