This accession consists of server files for the Smithsonian Institution 150th Anniversary website. This website launched in 1996 in coordination with other events held by the Smithsonian Institution to commemorate its 150th anniversary. For many years, the website was not updated nor maintained. In the early 2010s, minimal technical updates were made to repair its functionality and extend its lifespan, but its content remained untouched. This accession includes all of the files that were stored on the web server as of November 15, 2019, some of which were no longer part of the active website. Materials are in electronic format.
