This accession consists of the "Smithsonian Music" website as it existed on March 1, 2020. Originally established to celebrate the Smithsonian Year of Music in 2019, the website brings together resources from across the Smithsonian Institution to provide unique musical opportunities and increase access to the nation's collections. The website also includes a blog, "Smithsonian Music Notations," which launched in April 2017. Portions of the blog were captured in the crawl of the main website. The blog in its entirety was also crawled separately on the same day. Due to technical issues, calendar-based content does not function as expected. Materials are in electronic format.
