This accession consists of two websites and one blog maintained by Smithsonian Affiliations. The primary Smithsonian Affiliations website was crawled on December 27, 2019. It includes information about the program and its national conference as well as resources for affiliates. The website also includes an embedded blog, "The Affiliate," which highlights programs at affiliate organizations. The blog launched as a separate entity in July 2006 and was later incorporated into the website. The blog was captured as part of the full crawl of the website and was also crawled separately on March 17, 2020. The "Smithsonian in Your Neighborhood" website was crawled on October 29, 2019, shortly before it was taken offline. It included information about the program as well as provided details for the public about affiliate-related events and activities in the Atlanta and Houston regions. Materials are in electronic format.
