Descriptive Entry

This accession consists of the National Portrait Gallery website, both as a whole and in sections, as it was being redesigned in early 2020.

The entire website was crawled on February 21, 2020, and again on February 22, 2020. At this point, most of the style had already been updated. The website includes information on exhibitions, visiting, events, and educational activities. The portrait search portal was crawled separately on March 16, 2020.

The section related to the "Elvis at 21: Photographs by Alfred Wertheimer" exhibition was crawled on February 4, 2020. The section was subsequently removed from the website. The server files for this section are also part of this accession.

The "Face to Face" blog was crawled on April 7, 2020. It had launched as a standalone blog in February 2008 and the content was later moved to the website.
