Summary

This accession consists of the email account of Kathleen E. Ash-Milby, Associate Curator at the National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI). Ash-Milby earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington and a Master of Arts from the University of New Mexico in Native American art history. She organized a number of exhibitions at NMAI, including "Transformer: Native Art in Light and Sound" with David Garneau; "Kay WalkingStick: An American Artist" with co-curator David W. Penney; "C. Maxx Stevens: House of Memory"; "HIDE: Skin as Material and Metaphor"; and "Off the Map: Landscape in the Native Imagination". Ash-Milby's email account consists of approximately 53,742 messages and covers the time period of June 2005 to June 2019.
