This accession consists of approximately 12,403 tweets using the hashtag "#DeepTime." The hashtag was used by the National Museum of Natural History to promote the opening of the David H. Koch Hall of Fossils - Deep Time on June 8, 2019. After the opening, it continued to be used by the museum and the public for tweets related to the exhibition. Twitter is a microblogging platform and its posts are known as "tweets." Tweets using this hashtag were exported into a spreadsheet between May 6, 2019, and June 22, 2020. Due to technical issues, some tweets may be truncated. In addition, the "#DeepTime" hashtag is broadly used within the geological and paleontological communities and some tweets in this accession are not related to the exhibition. Materials are in electronic format.
