Summary

This accession consists of the email account of Brad Ronnell Braxton, Director of the Center for the Study of African American Religious Life and the Supervisory Curator of Religion at the National Museum of African American History and Culture. Braxton's email account consists of approximately 1300 messages and covers the time period of January 2018 to September 2019. The correspondence documents Braxton's work coordinating scholarship, public programs, and collecting religious artifacts to expand the ways religion is acknowledged and explored by research and cultural institutions in the United States.
