Two workers elevate the Joseph Henry statue on wooden supports while relocating it from a spot 150 feet northwest of the Smithsonian Institution Building, or Castle, to a spot facing the north entrance. The statue was moved during a regrading of the National Mall. Also visible is the U.S. Capitol building.
