Ramsaur, Office of German Affairs, State Department; Dr. Eduard Hess, scientific attache for the German Embassy; John E. Graf, assistant secretary of the Smithsonian; Robert L. Lefevre, representative from General Electric Company; and George B. Griffenhagen, curator of medicine and public health, in attendance.
This tube was purchased from a private owner in Germany and presented to the Smithsonian Institution in 1956 by the General Electric Company's X-ray Department of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
