This accession consists of the "American Sabor: Latinos in U.S. Popular Music" website as it existed on December 4, 2018, shortly before it was taken offline. It accompanied a traveling exhibition of the same name which began touring in early 2011. The website includes an online version of the exhibition, information about the exhibition, educational activities, and a blog which launched in September 2010. Much of the content is presented in both English and Spanish. The blog was last updated in August 2013 and the website was last updated in approximately 2014. The website was originally maintained by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service and was later transferred to the Smithsonian Latino Center. This accession also includes server files for the website. Materials are in electronic format.
