This accession consists of the Google Doodle celebrating African American History Month, 2018, and the Google Arts and Culture Story to which it was linked. The Story, "The Genesis of Dr. Carter Woodson's Negro History Week," was jointly created by the National Museum of American History and the National Postal Museum. Google Doodles are the daily drawings featured on the Google search engine homepage. Google Arts and Culture features online content from museums and cultural institutions, some of which is used to create Stories or online exhibitions. The Doodle was crawled on February 2, 2018, and the Story was crawled on March 13, 2018. Materials are in electronic format.
