This accession consists of records created and maintained by Kathleen Brader, Animal Keeper, documenting the presentation of two kiwis to the National Zoological Park and the subsequent birth of a chick as well as her research regarding mousebirds (Colius), kiwis, and Micronesian (Guam) kingfishers. Materials include photographs and slides, a press release, a news article, and a lecture script. Some materials are in electronic format. Many of the kiwi materials had previously been maintained by the Office of Public Affairs.
