Summary

left to right: Charles Robert Knight (1874-1953), Abraham Cressy Morrison (1884-1951), and Clyde Fisher (1878-1949), in front of a panel painted by Knight in the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History. Morrison was a chemist and president of the New York Academy of Sciences. Fisher was curator of astronomy and served as the head of the Hayden Planetarium from 1935 to 1941. The panel depicted the astronomical lore of the Siksika ("Blackfoot") tribe.
