Summary

Raymond Alexander Kelser (1892-1952) was a Brigadier General in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps, Office of the Surgeon General, before retiring to become Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, received the Gorgas Medal in 1946 for his work in eradicating rinderpest in the Philippine Islands.
