When this photograph was distributed, Dr. Kasanin was working with the Judge Baker Foundation in Boston and attending the Ninth International Congress of Psychology, in New Haven, Connecticut, September 1929. He later served as medical director of the Rhode Island State Hospital, director of psychiatry at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, and a lecturer at the University of California Medical School.
