This accession consists of the Smithsonian Folklife Festival website as it existed on June 19, 2017, and again on June 30, 2017. The Festival celebrated its 50th anniversary from June 29 through July 4 and July 6 through 9, 2017. The website provides information about the 2017 Festival and its programs. It also contains historical information about the Festival, the online exhibition "50 Years/50 Objects: Storied Objects from the Smithsonian Folklife Festival, 1967-2017," and a blog. The blog launched in approximately 2010 but some content from earlier festivals has been backdated and uploaded into the blog. Due to technical issues, some features of this website crawl do not function as expected. Materials are in electronic format.
