This accession consists of records created and maintained by Cathleen S. Lewis, Curator, documenting the development, production, maintenance, and upgrades of exhibitions. Topics covered include the Space Hall, the "Space Race" exhibition, artifact acquisitions, agreements, and special events. Some records date to when the Space History Division (1997-2013), was known as the Department of Space History from (1987-1996), the Department of Space Science and Exploration (1980-1986), and the Department of Astronautics (1975-1980). Materials include notes, reports, correspondence, memoranda, scripts, proposals, lists, floor plans, drawings, transparencies, slides, brochures, photographs, newspaper clippings, and other related materials. Some materials are written in Russian. Some materials are in electronic format.
