Summary

Caption from Torch: "Edwards Park (right), a member of the Board of Editors of Smithsonian magazine, and George Thur, turbo-engineer for the Energy Research and Development Administration, inspect the turbo-drive Plymouth, one of four ERDA 'cars of the future' which were driven in President Carter's Inaugural Parade. Use of the environment-sparing cars was suggested by the Smithsonian, which for many years has been concerned with the scientific aspects of energy and the environment."
