Summary

Caption from Torch: "Lucille Dawson, coordinator of the Native American Area at the Festival of American Folklife, presented a beaded reproduction of the U.S. Park Police Badge to Officer J.E. Thomas, in appreciation for his tireless service during Festivals of this and previous years. Officer Thomas is unofficially credited with rescuing more lost children at folklife festivals than anyone else in the history of the event. His beaded badge was made in Oklahoma by a Native American of the Kiowan tribe."
