Featured in the "Torch," October 1976: "The Zoo's young hippopotamus, accompanied by William Xanten, NZP curator of mammals, and Benjamin Harrison, assistant curator at the Singapore Zoo, was shipped to Singapore on September 15. Susan was born in January 1976 at the Zoo and was attended by mother Arusha and father Joe Smith."
