Summary

Ribbon cutting ceremony for National Air and Space Museum (NASM), with President Gerald Ford and Michael Collins, former astronaut and NASM director. The ribbon cutting was performed by a replica of the mechanical arm of the Viking lander, which was sent a signal by the actual Viking I spacecraft from a Mars orbit.
