Summary

Caption from Torch: "Lynn Volpi, a By-Word employee, demonstrating how a new plastic 'wand' is held to the ear to obtain a sound-guided tour. The new wand replaces the head sets used for the past six years at the National Museum of Natural History. The wand can 'talk' to a person through most of the Museum's exhibit halls, issuing a fund of information not covered in the written exhibit labels. Volpi stands in the Hall of Minerals at NMNH."
