This accession consists of records documenting the planning and production of exhibitions created and maintained by Louise Allison Cort, Museum Specialist, 1985-1989; Assistant Curator, 1989-1994; Associate Curator, 1994-1995; and Curator, 1995- . Topics covered include research, planning, preparation, event feedback, fund raising, budgets, the traveling exhibition, artists, travel, agreements, and education. Many documents are written or published in Japanese. Topics also include a loaned exhibition from Cambodia, the Korean gallery space relocation, and a collaborative exhibition with the National Museum of Korea. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, notes, photographs, postcards, negatives, maps, transcripts, programs, brochures, proposals, slides, transparencies, news clippings, newsletters, floor plans, catalogs, publications, architectural drawings, and related materials. Some materials are in electronic format. Some older material was acquired by Cort for research purposes.
