This accession consists of records that document the American Association of Museums (AAM) reaccreditation process at the National Museum of American History (NMAH). Materials include briefing books for site visits of AAM staff as well as supporting documentation compiled by NMAH. Some of the supporting documentation includes staff handbooks, collection management system records, budget and finance records, staff information, preservation and conservation records, exhibition records, publications information, building and facilities records, special event information, brochures, exhibition catalogs, educational materials, images, and other related documents.

Descriptive Entry

This accession consists of records that document the American Association of Museums (AAM) reaccreditation process at the National Museum of American History (NMAH). Materials include briefing books for site visiting from AAM staff as well as supporting documentation compiled by NMAH. Some of the supporting documentation includes staff handbooks, collection management system records, budget and finance records, staff information, preservation and conservation records, exhibition records, publications information, building and facilities records, special event information, brochures, exhibition catalogs, educational materials, images, and other related documents.
