Summary

Norman Jefferis Holter (1914-1983), senior physicist, U.S. Navy Bureau of Ships Electronics Division, 1946. Holter was in charge of measuring the ocean waves resulting from the atomic bomb tests during Operation Crossroads in the Marshall Islands. This photo was distributed by the Joint Army and Navy Task Force, March 12, 1946.
