Summary

John Alfred Hipple, Jr. (1911-1985). Caption to undated photograph: "John A. Hipple, of Princeton University, winner of one of the five fellowships awarded by Westinghouse Research Laboratories for work in fundamental science. He will design and construct large mass spectographs for studies in molecular structure during his year at Company research headquarters in East Pittsburgh, Pa." Hipple later joined the staff of the Westinghouse Research Laboratories.
