Summary

Maurice Hugh Frederick Wilkins (1916-2004) was co-winner of the Nobel prize in 1962 (with James Watson and Francis Crick) for discovery of the structure of DNA. This photograph was distributed in 1960 when the three men received the Albert Lasker Basic Medical Research Award for their work revealing the double helical structure of DNA.
