Opening of "The Ilke and Jacoby Lace Collection" exhibition from the Gewerbe Museum, St. Gall, Switzerland in the National Collection of Fine Arts gallery at the Natural History Building, with United States National Museum director A. Remington Kellogg at podium. The exhibit, arranged in cooperation with the Ambassador of Switzerland, Dr. August R. Lindt (right), and the Swiss Cotton and Embroidery Industry, presents a history of lace from the 16th century to the present.
