This accession consists of records created and maintained by Margaret A. Weitekamp, Curator, 2004- , documenting the development of exhibitions for the National Air and Space Museum and the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. Much of the documentation focuses on interactive and other educational components of the exhibitions. A smaller amount of material documents special events, including the John H. Glenn Lecture in Space History. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, scripts, proposals, floor plans, schedules, wireframes for interactives, speaking notes, images, conference materials, and related materials. Some materials are in electronic format. The Space History Department was renamed from the Space History Division in 2014.
