This accession consists of the records of Bernard S. Finn, Curator Emeritus of electricity collections, which document his curatorial and professional activities in the Division of Information Technology and Society, and during the years when the division was known as the Division of Electricity and Modern Physics, the Division of Electricity and Nuclear Energy, and the Division of Electricity. Some earlier records predate the creation of the museum. Other staff represented in this accession include curators W. James King and Robert P. Multhauf; museum specialist Elliot N. Sivowitch; historian emeritus Brooke Hindle; and research associates David A. Hounshell and Robert Belfield. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, and notes; professional society information in regard to committees, symposiums, and special events; meeting agendas and minutes; lecture papers, articles, and book reviews; publication surveys; press releases; collections management, exhibition, workshop, research grant, and award information; reports; policies and guidelines; agreements; newspaper clippings; photographs; floor plans; and brochures. Some materials are in electronic format.
