Well-documented topics include the design and construction of the museum; the museum's collections; Mr. Hirshhorn's 80th birthday party; and Mr. Hirshhorn's business activities. Materials include clippings, photographs, legal documents, marketing materials, press releases, object lists, books, pamphlets, a film script, a model of an early design for the museum, and related materials. Some materials were created before the establishment of the museum.
