This accession consists of the website of the National Zoological Park, including the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute, the Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center, and the Friends of the National Zoo, as it existed on July 27, 2016, and again on September 8, 2016, shortly after it was redesigned. Both versions of the website include information about exhibits, animals, conservation projects, membership, events, educational programs, and visiting as well as image galleries and press releases. Due to technical issues, some features, such as the live animal cams, do not function as expected. Materials are in electronic format.
