Caption: "Arriving on S.S. Bremen. Captain F. W. Haig, one of Australia's most famous flyers, who is chief air officer of the Vacuum Oil Company, Ptv. Ltd., of Australia, arrived to-day on the S.S. Bremen after an air tour of Europe. He covered 13 countries in 11 days by air. Europe has made tremendous strides in air development, he said, and American plane designs were much in evidence there." This photograph was distributed ca. 1934 by Press Bureau, J. Sterling Getchell, Inc., New York.
