Summary

This accession consists of a grant proposal submitted by the University of Iowa to the National Science Foundation for continuing support of the long-term study of tropical forest structure and dynamics on Barro Colorado Island. The tree census techniques established during this study became the basis of a global network of census plots that would later be coordinated by the Center for Tropical Forest Science. Materials are in electronic format.
