Summary

Geoffrey Gordon (1924-1989), manager of simulation development, Advanced Systems Development Division, IBM. Gordon's research focused on "the computer simulation of information handling processes before the processes are actually used in a system." The photograph was taken in September 1961 as Gordon presented a preliminary version of IBM's GPS computer simulation program.
