This accession consists of records that document the Staff Planning Committee at the Museum of the American Indian (MAI) at the George Gustav Heye Center in New York City. The committee was responsible for planning the transition of MAI to becoming a part of the Smithsonian Institution. The materials were maintained by Lee A Callander, Registrar.
