View from top of flag pole of National Zoological Park.

Subject

National Zoological Park (U.S.)

Notes

This shot looks northwest from the top of the flag pole on the east side of the Lion House. Bottom left is the roof of the Lion House, middle right are the entrance and roof of the Monkey House, just above that is the first large outdoor eagle cage, to the left of that with a row of vents and skylights on its roof is the original Bird House, to its left is a portion of the octagonal Elephant Barn (the first EH), above that the second or Brick Elephant House can just be made out through the trees. Directly above the Bird House are either parts of its roof or some of the first cages at the Zoo, known as 'Rotton Row.'
