This accession consists of a card file used by staff and volunteers responsible for responding to telephone calls, emails, and letters from the public. The cards were used to answer common questions and include general information about individual Smithsonian Institution museums, programs, major events, and popular collections as well as basic tourist information for the local area. Although some cards are likely much older, the information was most likely current in late 2001 and early 2002.
