The registry is administered and promoted by the Smithsonian Institution Archives but can be updated at any time by webmasters and other staff contacts. Information found in the registry includes the responsible unit; the type of website, application, or social network; the site contact; the URL; notes; and date and method of most recent capture. The data was exported into two different spreadsheet formats and as a PDF document. Materials are in electronic format.
