This accession consists of a website and blog maintained by the Department of Invertebrate Zoology.
The departmental website, crawled August 7, 2015, includes information about staff, collection policies, research, and departmental history.
The Antarctic Invertebrates section of the departmental website was crawled separately on June 10, 2015. This section documents the specimens of the United States Antarctic Program, managed jointly by the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) and the National Science Foundation, Office of Polar Programs. Detailed specimen information is not included in this accession.
The Oceanographic Data Sets for NMNH Invertebrate Collections section of the departmental website was crawled separately on June 12, 2015. The section includes station data and cruise logs. Data sets may be incomplete in this accession.
The "No Bones" blog, crawled August 7, 2015, documents departmental news and research. The first post was in February 2013.
