Finding Aids to Official Records of the Smithsonian Institution Archives
Accession 15-197
Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery
Website Records, 2015
Descriptive Entry
This accession consists of "The World of the Japanese Illustrated Book: The Gerhard Pulverer Collection" website, maintained by the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, as it existed on March 12, 2015. The website is an online catalog for the Pulverer Collection which includes numerous rare and pristine examples of Japanese illustrated books produced in the Edo (Tokugawa) period and beyond. The website includes essays and videos about the collection. Due to technical issues, much of the digitized collection material and some video is missing from this accession and searches may not function properly. Only data available without logging into the system was captured. Materials are in electronic format.
