This accession consists of documentation of the professional activities of Michael J. Neufeld, including presentations, papers, and articles. Neufeld held several fellowships with the Smithsonian Institution from 1988 through 1990. In 1990, he was hired as a curator by the National Air and Space Museum, first in the Department of Aeronautics, which became the Aeronautics Division in 1997, and then in the Space History Division in 1999. Much of the research documented in this accession relates to Wernher von Braun, German and then American rocketeer and space administrator. Materials include correspondence, notes, papers, articles, presentations, meeting materials, images, and related materials.

Descriptive Entry

This accession consists of documentation of the professional activities of Michael J. Neufeld, including presentations, papers, and articles.
